Missoni Prints

Summer is slowly coming to an end, and I’m enjoying the last couple of sunny days. I’ve had to keep my sunglasses on all day these past couple of weeks to keep the sun away. It’s kind of strange that fall has just started (in the calendar at least), and the sun has just started to come out. Oh well, better late that never right?
It was definitely a challenge pulling of this many colors and prints in one outfit, and I’m not gonna say, I’ve conquered that challenge of styling, but I definitely don’t think, it looks bad. The sunglasses were the ones laying in my bag that day, but they were actually very useful because of the dark glass.

These pants are super bright and colorful, and they’re definitely the main focus in this outfit. I love, how they make the outfit look fun and different. In Scandinavia you don’t see as much color and prints, as you do in other parts of the world, so it was a very ‘daring’ outfit, if you will. I think it’s so important, that you wear what you want, and not worry about what other people think. I’ve never struggled with feeling different (in a negative way) clothing-wise, but I know, that a lot of people do. That’s why, I wanted to write a little about it.

So where do I start? Clothing and fashion is a way of expressing yourself. Whether that’s by wearing ripped jeans and a t-shirt or long pretty dresses, the important thing is, that you’re wearing, what makes you feel good – Not what your friends or society expects you to wear. I made this blog to inspire people with my little knowledge in fashion, and I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, since I’ve grown up (I’m still a kid, but you get what i mean) with fashion surrounding me by family members. Therefor I’ve always known, that what you wear usually says a lot about you and your personality. In fashion there are no rules. You see that through the different designs, fashion designers create, and I love that! Some fashion houses choose to stay up to date with the latest trends, while others stick to the original designs, from where they started.
Whatever your style is, there’s always gonna be something that speaks to you so why not just wear it?

Love, Misaki
